  • Cleantech
Israel is one of the most innovative countries in the world for technologies and know-how related to Alternative & Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Water, and Environment. This committee’s focus is to gain an understanding of what Israel offers in “green”, needs in the Southeast among corporations and governments, and determine the synergies of the two areas in this important new cluster.

  • Medical
The Israeli Life Science Industry is young, growing and exuberant. Of the existing 745 companies, 75% were founded during the last decade with approximately 40% established in the last five years, and 50-60 new companies are added annually. The Israelis have focused on unique opportunities of major diseases for which existing therapies are largely ineffective including treatments for cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, oncology, neurodegenerative disease, and other age-related diseases such as ophthalmic and orthopedic. This committee assists qualified Israeli companies in making introductions and contacts to potential strategic partners in the Southeast and hosts them for presentations to key decision makers. An interactive videoconference on Clinical Trials for Israeli cardiology companies is planned for February.

  • Professional

Activities include the annual Professional Seminar, workshops, and briefings with professional certification credit as well as opportunities to personally assist Israeli companies seeking to penetrate U.S. markets. The Real Estate Subcommittee is marketing investment opportunities in Atlanta and the Southeast through Atlanta ROI, a 3-times a year publication geared to educated Israeli investors about specific real estate projects and the strong network of professionals with whom to work.

  • Security
With the increased focus on Homeland Security in the United States, Israel's reputation as a leader of innovative solutions in the field of homeland security technologies and services has created an ever-growing industry.
Committee members will learn about Israel's state of the art security expertise and be among the first in the US to witness cutting-edge Israeli security solutions. The Security Committee focuses primarily on technologies, products, and services in the fields of Bioterrorism, Evacuation, Surveillance, and Law Enforcement.
