Capitalizing on Israel’s fast growing life science industry that is eager for new, innovative products and services, the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) is organizing a delegation to the 2012 BioMed Israel conference in Tel Aviv,
May 21-23. Israel’s leading international biomedical, healthcare, and life sciences conference, BioMed last year attracted 1,000 participants from 42 countries with more than 3,500 one-on-one meetings held by conference attendees.
Members of the Georgia delegation will have the opportunity to share the state’s exhibit booth at substantially reduced cost. Ronen Kenan, Managing Director, Israel for Georgia’s Israel office, will be assisting with organizational details and outreach to Israeli companies.
Several AICC members are joining the delegation. “This is an outstanding opportunity for our members to make an impact in Israel and represent the state and their own business interests,” said Nancy Sousa, chair of the Chamber’s Medical Committee who led the delegation to BioMed 2011 last year.
